Our second annual workshop will be held on Wednesday 18 November 2025, 2pm to 4:30pm AEDT (UTC+11). It is open to members and non-members of the ASA and the Chapter and is free of charge.

If you have research you want to share now is the time to let us know!

Astronomical Society of Australia (ASA)'s History of Australian Astronomy Chapter (HAAC) members are invited to submit an abstract to present a 15-minute paper (plus brief questions) online, on an aspect of Australian astronomical history. We are seeking papers that will spark discussion, bring new or lesser-known histories to the fore. The chapter's Steering Committee will select the three most suitable papers. Others may be kept in mind for future webinars.
